Q: What are your qualifications as an environmental copywriter?

A: I’m a life member of the American Writers & Artists Inc. (AWAI), the stalwart among the copywriting organizations in the world.

As a member of their elite Circle of Success, and a graduate of their highly acclaimed Accelerated Copywriting Program, widely recognized in the direct response industry as the premier copywriting training for persuasive writing, I can humbly claim to have been taught by the best in the market.

I combine this experience with my passion for sustainability. This inbuilt feeling has helped me to develop an understanding and empathy for things that matter. It is undoubtedly my primary viewpoint for everything that I do or say. I use this mindset to take eco-friendly businesses to higher ground.

Q: Do you have experience in the environment/green product industry?

A: Yes, I have been dealing with eco-friendly products for quite some time now, sharing the information through my blogs and through my classes for different age groups. I am also writing about water conservation products in the market and the harmful effects of regular cosmetics on human health. I read and research daily to make sure I keep my finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the industry.

Q: What kind of business copywriting do you usually do?

Q: Have you had any specific copywriting training that has prepared you for the specific needs in B2B and B2C?

A: Yes, I have completed B2B writing training through AWAI. I am now taking the Advanced Training module as a Circle of Success member of AWAI and also the special marketing training by Joshua Boswell. I keep honing on the Accelerated Program from time to time. One can never get done with it completely. I also attend regular webinars by copywriting dons as Clayton Makepeace, Bob Bly, Ed Gandia and Will Newman for the latest and greatest marketing strategies.

Q: What does it cost to hire you for a project?

A: The amount of your investment will vary according to the project type and scope. Please visit the Investment link for estimated amounts for different project types.

Q: Do you only write for the companies that sell eco-friendly products/services and green energy?

A: The sustainability industry is the niche where I have the most expertise, but I love to learn new things and I also believe that there is a sustainability aspect to every type of business. I’m happy to talk with you about any projects you have and would enjoy exploring other industries, too.

Q: Do you give feedback to our existing content just to spruce it up a bit?

A: Sure I do! I absolutely love doing that. I’ll take an in-depth look at your current copy and search for ways to improve its effectiveness and impact, finding ways to make it work harder so you don’t have to.

Q: Do you write your copy yourself or do you have a team of writers?

A: I do it all by myself until my clients and I are totally satisfied. For other peripheral services concerning my business, I outsource regularly to be able to devote more time to writing.

Q: How long does it usually take for you to write copy?

A: Exact timelines are dependent on project length and the amount of research required. In a regular schedule you can expect approximately a 10-14 day assignment turn around. The urgency of the client is also very important to me. So, if you’re in any particular hurry we can always talk about it and see what the possibilities are.

Q: What happens if we want you to revise the copy you have written?

A: I am a very flexible person with the motto to serve my clients till they are satisfied. After I turn in the first draft, there is always a slight tweaking involved to perfectly match your needs.  Up to two revisions are included in my fees (unless they are based on a change in the assignment after the copy is submitted).

All revisions must be assigned within 30 days of your receipt of the first draft of copy.

After that, an additional rewrite may be made at a fee to be negotiated separately from our original agreement. Minor revisions usually take 1-3 days, major revisions may take longer.

Q: How do you decide on the voice of the writing?

A: When I write for you, I will use a voice appropriate to your business and to which your customers will relate. Depending on the type of writing and the clientele it caters to, you can give me feedback on setting the tone for each type of writing that I will be doing for you.

People almost always respond on a deep level to the tone and voice of the written piece, it encourages the development of trust in your business and product. My creative writing background provides extensive experience in creating unique, believable voices, and I will use this skill to help you stand out from the competition.
